The Origin

I started Deba's as an ode to my granny. My grandmother, whose nickname was Deba, was the glue that held my family together. Her down home southern cookin' and bakin' brought young, old, neighbors, family, and the sick and shut in together as one. Deba's cooking could and still touches the depths of souls with the titillating seasonings and spices and brings a smile to anyone's face. I am honored to continue her legacy, share, and add on to some of her most famous recipes. Let's eat y'all and come together through the love of good ol' soul food!
